World AIDS Day 2022

<strong>World AIDS Day 2022 <br />
December 1st</strong>

In December, JVATiTD aims to raise awareness of HIV and AIDS

Every year, on December 1st, the world commemorates World AIDS Day. People around the world unite to show support for those living with HIV and to remember those who have died from AIDS-related illnesses.

In order to raise awareness of HIV, JVATiTD will select five articles submitted in December on AIDS, AIDS-related illnesses and their treatment to waive their article-processing charges. To be considered for this initiative, the authors should mention in the cover letter that the manuscript is being submitted to the “World AIDS Day 2022 action”.

World AIDS Day remains as relevant today as it has always been, reminding people that HIV has not gone away. There is still a critical need for increased funding for the AIDS response, to increase awareness of the impact of HIV on people’s lives, to end discrimination and to improve the quality of life of people living with HIV.
